Game Console Repair London
PCHUB assesses selected game-console faults from our Highgate workshop, including no-power symptoms, damaged HDMI/display output, overheating, storage/startup problems and other supported hardware issues. Contact us with the exact console model before bringing it in.
Tell us what the console does before it fails.
Whether a repair is practical depends on the console revision, symptoms, previous work and board condition. The descriptions below help identify the right first diagnostic route.
No picture / HDMI damage
Visible HDMI-port damage, intermittent image, no video output or a connector that has been physically pushed or bent can be assessed for suitable repair.
No power or shutdown
Consoles that will not start, switch off under load or behave intermittently need power and board symptoms checked before a component is blamed.
Overheating & airflow
Fan noise, thermal warnings or shutdowns during gaming can involve dust, cooling, thermal interfaces or other hardware instability.
Console model and history help us judge the repair route.
Not every accessory or board fault is economical.
PCHUB does not promise that every console can be repaired. Severe multilayer board damage, unavailable parts, previous unsuccessful work or low-value accessory faults may make replacement a more sensible option. We will explain the practical route after assessment.
If the problem appears only with a particular cable, dock or accessory, mention that when booking so we can tell you what should accompany the console.
Common questions from gamers.
Selected HDMI-port and video-output faults can be assessed. The final repair depends on connector damage, pads/traces and the wider condition of the board.
High temperature is one possibility, but power delivery and hardware instability can produce similar symptoms. Tell us whether the console becomes unusually hot or shows any warning first.
Selected Switch hardware faults can be assessed. Send the model and symptoms first because handheld, dock, charging and board faults can require different diagnostic routes.
Controller repairs are considered separately and depend on the model and fault. Contact PCHUB before bringing a controller so we can confirm whether the issue is currently supported.
Many hardware repairs do not intentionally require deleting stored data, but storage and system faults can carry data risk. Keep cloud/local backups where the platform provides them and tell us if stored data is especially important.
PC gaming and console repair are separate diagnostic routes.
Ask about your console before travelling.
Send the console model, fault symptoms and any visible port damage. We can tell you whether the issue is suitable for workshop assessment.
