Upgrades

Keep up to date with the technology; upgrade your system to the latest upgradeable hardware. Upgrades make a computer system work faster and more reliably. We strongly recommend memory upgrade for system stability.

We upgrade:

Memory

Hard Disk

CD/DVDRW

Sound card

Graphic card

Printer

Monitor

Network card/Modem etc

Memory: Adding more memory to your system can significantly improve the performance of your system. If your computer has less memory than the software you are running, the computer keeps transferring information between the memory and hard disk wasting valuable CPU time. Adding more memory to a system can often significantly increase its performance.

Hard disk: New software applications especially games require a lot of disk space. Older disks with less space may also slow down a system as it tries to fit in the data as best as it can. Besides, your old hard drive may be very slow. Newer disk drives are not only giving you more storage space, their faster speeds will also help improve overall system performance.

CD/DVDRW: Watch and record videos with the latest DVDRWs. New optical drives are faster in reading and copying.

Graphic card : If you are into gaming, then you need a good graphic card with good memory to play the latest games. To play the latest games you will not only need a good graphic card but also good processor speed and memory. Good graphic card is also recommended for graphic designers and dvd enthusiasts.

Printer: If you are short of space and still want to have all the facilities of copying, scanning and printing then go for all in one printer. All in one printers are space saving printers which come with photo copying, printing and scanning facilities integrated in one machine.

Monitor: Old monitors do not have high resolution (pixels) screen. To see better colours or if you need a bigger screen for graphics design, gaming, watching dvd movies or just like to have the option of different screen settings with different resolution, you will need a new CRT or TFT monitor. If you are short of space then go for TFT, although they were very expensive a few years ago, now they are available with reasonable prices.

Modem/network card: Would like to upgrade to broadband or need to connect to other computers (networking) for internet or data sharing then you need a network card.

If your system is two or more years old, why not upgrade the whole system, we can even take your old system as part exchange.

Upgrading a Laptop: In most cases you can only upgrade some parts of a laptop e.g. memory, hard disk and modem/network card. The rest you have to keep as they are. If you would like to change other parts of a laptop like processor or graphic card, then consider replacing it with either a new or another laptop.
